This is an icon of St Fillan, building his chapel by the loch with the help of a wolf. The wild animal had killed the ox used by the Saint, and it later returned to ask for forgiveness. As a sign of repentance, the wolf took the place of the ox he had killed and helped the Saint build his chapel.

St Fillan is a wonderful protector of those who struggle with depression and any emotional distress. People came from everywhere to bathe in the loch by his church and were healed by their mental and emotional suffering. A different representation of St Fillan, focused on his prayer over people with emotional struggles, is also available on the Monastery bookstore.

Available sizes:
Large: 26.5 cm x 19.3 cm
Medium: 19.6 cm x 14.5 cm
Small: 13.8 cm x 10.1 cm

The icon is a very high quality reproduction of an original Mull Monastery commission. It is mounted on durable, light wood, with round edges and a hanging hole.
