The Community

This is the place where you may help the Monastery cover the recurrent expenses of the community – anything from food and clothing to electricity and heating.

So, for instance, if you would like to buy the food for the brothers or the sisters for a week, this is where you can do it. If you would like to cover our annual council tax or the heating for the month – you can do that from here.

If you want to do this to honour someone special, include their names in the Notes section and we shall pray for them. For example, you may want to make this offering for someone’s birthday or to celebrate their Baptism. Similarly, if you want to make this offering on behalf of someone you love who has departed, do include their name in the Notes and we shall remember them at the Altar.

This is a wonderful way to help the monastery manage our daily expenses, while giving the ones you love the gift of prayer. And, because these expenses never seem to go away, this is something you may do repeatedly, which means that we shall always have you in our prayer. May we all be blessed.
